Construction Phase

The Construction Phase of the project begins when the preliminary plans have been approved by the Owner, and governing authorities. Our Architects will begin creating the complete architectural construction documents with Platinum Construction finalizing the project specifications for construction of the proposed home.

After the final construction documents are completed for your facility, construction is ready to begin! Throughout the Construction Phase of your project the following items are going on simultaneously and is an essential part of completing your project on time and on budget

  • Construction documents, plans, and specifications completed by the Design / Build Team for your project.
  • Advertisement and solicitation of sub-contractor bids by Platinum Construction
  • Architect / Platinum Construction issue bid documents
  • Pre-Bid site meeting held by Design / Build Team
  • Architect / Platinum Construction issue bid agenda
  • Platinum Construction receives, analyzes, tabulates, and compares sub trade bids to the budgeted estimate set for your project
  • Post bid meeting with apparent low two sub-contractors for each category bid on your project (subject to change depending on scheduled time line for project completion)
  • Prepare sub-trade qualifications and recommendations to the Owner
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with trade contractors throughout project duration
  • Platinum Construction receives and reviews sub-contractor insurance and bonds of sub-contractors (when required) to make sure meet the project requirements established
  • Platinum Construction will secure signed contracts of sub-trade contractors for placement of their work per their bid according to the plans and specifications that were developed for your project
  • Weekly meetings on site with trade contractors involved on your project to help eliminate any potential problems or delays on your project
  • Constant communication is kept with Platinum Construction and the sub-contractors of the project
  • The Design / Build Team continue regular communication with the representatives of McLaren Regional Medical Center.
  • Platinum Construction develops a control system for necessary change orders
  • Design / Build Team continues to monitor and modify construction schedule to adhere to the final completion date
  • Platinum Construction processes sub-trade contractor pay requests
  • Platinum Construction coordinates all work activities of your project
  • Design / Build Team is constantly re-evaluating your project for cost savings potential
  • Platinum Construction enforces jobsite safety standards and OSHA & MIOSHA safety standards by all involved on your project
  • Platinum Construction enforces the quality of work by your project’s sub-trade contractors that Platinum Construction is well know for by our clients we serve
  • Platinum Construction enforces daily clean-up of your project to provide a clean, safe site and building
  • Design / Build Team will identify key equipment and materials of your project to determine lead times will meet construction schedule for project completion date set.
